Here you will find additional information on badges and new badges will be added over the next few months as we complete them.

Home Badges

These are to be completed over a period of time. We have given you several, but there is no rush to get to the final stickers! They are designed to encourage good behaviour over time.

NIGHT TIME FAIRY

Instructions from Journal

To earn a sticker you must be a good night time fairy, following all of your parents set routines & rules. 24 Stickers must be earned to get the badge. Once you have the badge, you should always be a good night time fairy to keep it!

Notes to parents

Fairies need to follow your set routine for bedtime, this is your chance to lay some ground rules! Tell your little fairy what the rules are and then if they follow the rules they get a sticker. Explain that once they have a badge they are expected to maintain the routine.

SHARING FAIRY

Instructions from Journal

To earn this badge, you must share with friends and family. 12 stickers
need to be earned on occasions when you have shared
like a true fairy!

Notes to parents

Not so many stickers are needed to gain this badge as the opportunity to share is not so often. Set a day to earn a sticker when you know you are having friends round to your house etc.

CHORES FAIRY

Chore should be set by parents. Each chore needs to be completed 4 times for the full award.

Hooray!! All children are different and need encouragement in different areas, so we have left this blank for you to write in the chores which you feel your child needs some encouragement with! We bet tidy up toys is on the list though!

MANNER FAIRY

Instructions from Journal

All fairies have very very good manners. One sticker a week is awarded
for having very good manners. Parents will decide if you have been polite all week! 6 stickers needed for the full award

Notes to parents

Although your child may already be polite, you can extend the please's & thank you's to perhaps offering sweets around without being asked, saying thank you for having me without any prompting, waiting for others to start eating until they do etc, its up to you!

Club Badges

FAIRY ORNITHOLOGIST

Fairies & birds have a lot in common! Lets learn about birds. To earn your Ornithologist badge you need to complete the following;

1. Be able to identify at least 3 different birds

2. Make a bird feeder

3. Take a photo of a bird

4. Complete the bird worksheet

5. Observe birds in the garden

We will make a bird cake in club & explain some facts about birds. If possible please try to carry on the theme at home. We will be taking photos of birds in club time to save you having to get photos developed. We just hope we can find some when we come to do it!

SNOW FAIRY BADGE

1. Identify Antarctica on a globe and know some facts about Antarctica

2. Know some facts about penguins

3. Know some facts about seals

4.  Know how snow is formed

5. Make a snowflake & recognise it has 6 points

6. IT - play penguin game

This badge also gives points towards some of the other badges too such as World, animal & cooking
